Libby’s (Grocery Manager) tenure at Nature’s Oasis spans more than a decade, having been hired as Grocery Manager in 2009. Gifted with an incredible work ethic, endless energy, and extreme love for natural and organic products, Libby first spent time working with Nature’s Oasis in the Deli and Produce Departments during her Fort Lewis College years. After graduating with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2004, she decided to dive deeper into the natural and organic product industry focusing on culinary and health trends.
Incredibly astute in business and the natural and organic food marketplace, Libby keeps Nature’s Oasis ahead of a constantly changing and progressing industry, beautiful stocked with diverse products, and anchored with a top-notch grocery team that is incredibly efficient and product savvy. She absolutely thrives on networking, negotiating deals, and finding the best of the best products at trade shows around the nation, from Expo West in Anaheim, California (largest natural and organic product show globally) to many specialty tabletop shows that have taken her to Hawaii, Oregon, Illinois, and Louisiana, to name a few places. Libby says she is continuously amazed at the number of new products launched monthly, which keeps her career interesting and dynamic, along with finding needle in the haystack products for customers.
Libby loves all things food, cooking, and learning about nutrition and health trends. This is evident by her beautiful organic vegetable garden, fascination with recipes, and providing a healthy home environment for her family. When not working, she loves playing in the outdoors with her family, friends, and “doggo”. Libby was born and raised in Wyoming and first came to Durango in 2000 to attend Fort Lewis College, after which she made it her home sweet home with her family.
